Learn some key fire prevention measures and action to take in the event of a fire and some practical fire fighting skills.

The workshop will cover:

• Fire precautions regulations / legislation
• Information on fire and how fires spreads
• Common causes of fire
• Action on discovering a fire
• Calling the Fire Service
• Hazard spotting / hazard reduction
• Fire extinguishers: Practice and theory

Suitable for everyone

All courses are free and lunch will be provided (where appropriate) for full day courses. Swan will also help towards travel and childcare costs.

Book early to avoid disappointment as workshops are on a first come first served basis!

After a review meeting with residents who took part in the 2010 workshops, it has been suggested to ask for a deposit of £5 cheque or postal order made payable to "Swan Housing Association" (no cash) to secure your place.

This will be refunded on the day of the course.
