Residents Consultative Committees

Swan have two regional Residents Consultative Committees (RCCs) covering London, Southend, Chelmsford, Colchester and Basildon. They are made up of Swan tenant representatives from general needs, supported housing and shared ownership housing who are elected from either their local residents forums, residents associations, neighbourhood or street.

The committees meet on a regular basis to discuss housing, community and development issues and to receive performance reports from Swan’s officers. They receive all policies and procedures for comment before they go to Swan’s boards for approval, and they will also receive reports on any other consultation that has taken place.
