Season’s greetings!

Hi All, it’s been a while since my last article but it’s good to be back! With Christmas coming up I’ve been thinking a lot about practical ways to save money and reduce costs. It’s not always easy to cut back even more when you’re already on a tight budget!

Jessica, 15, from Chelmsford won £20 in vouchers for designing the logo stamped on the front page of this newsletter. We will use it to show that residents had an input and are happy with it.

The Princes Trust offers a number of programmes available locally for young people to assist them with the skills and confidence to get into work and training. To check out what’s on offer their website is www.princes-trust.org.uk.

Eleven of our bravest colleagues at Swan took the plunge by jumping out of a plane at 12,000 feet in a tandem parachute jump, from the Chatteris Airfield in Cambridgeshire, all in the name of charity.

Our skydiving heroes helped to raise over £15,000 for the Swan Foundation, in an event sponsored by Construction Safety UK Ltd, to help raise money to improve the quality of life for people in disadvantaged neighbourhoods.
