I’m your resident journalist Hi! My name is Ayesha and I recently joined the Editorial Panel and from now on I’ll be regularly contributing to the newsletter.

I am a full time mother of three, with some experience of writing and journalism, so I’m really excited about getting back into the working world. It’s not always easy or possible to do so when you have young children and there are often many setbacks and obstacles for parents when returning to work. This year is a new start for many people I know, including myself and with some of my articles I’ll be looking into a few topics and issues that have had a negative impact on my progression so far; personally, financially and educationally.

It’s easy to believe that only you can be facing a problem or going through a difficult time, but often enough we don’t realise just how many people are going through the same or similar things. I hope I will be able to reach out to those of you that may feel isolated and/or are struggling to juggle a number of responsibilities. I’ll also give some insight into how I have overcome different events and hopefully will help or inspire you to do the same. So here's to a positive 2011 full of great things to come for us all!

See you again soon!
