We realise that our residents frequently have different lifestyles and how that can affect how you would prefer to pay your bills. Irregular hours can make visiting a Post Office or Bank awkward, and some people are not comfortable with phone or online banking. So we are regularly looking into finding alternative ways for you to pay your rent.

Direct Debit
|
A direct debit is a payment we take direct from your bank or building society account each month. If you would like to pay by direct debit, ask for a form at your local office or email us
We will let you know how much you need to pay each month. Payments also need to be made monthly in advance so that your rent account does not go into arrears.
Beacuse the direct debit system saves us money, we can sometimes give you money back if you pay in this way, as long as your rent account is clear and we receive 12 continuous payments. Ask your Housing Office for more details. |

Text payments are a new and easy way to pay your rent. You can pay using your mobile phone. This method gives you the flexibility to pay rent 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Swan customers simply need a UK registered mobile phone, a valid allpay.net payment card and a current debit or credit card. After a brief online registration you can then pay your rent on the move anytime, anyplace, anywhere.
Making a payment
Once registered, to make a payment, you simply text “Pay” along with a registered text code, (for example, “Rent”) and the amount you wish to pay followed by the text password which is the last four digits of your debit or credit card.
