We will install a carbon monoxide alarm in your home if you have gas heating. Although we already have a landlord’s gas safety process to make sure your gas boilers are safe and 100% of our properties have passed a Gas Safety check - we want to go the extra mile!

This is part of the Decent Homes PLUS standard, so we are looking into further reducing the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. We have already started installing them and are scheduled to complete in three years.

You will also shortly be receiving your copy of our Decent Homes PLUS standard. We developed this document with your help so we can be better than government’s minimum Decent Home standard.

This is a minimum standard that means your home must be in good condition, but our PLUS standard will help set us apart from other landlords.
