Why do I need to pay rent?
Your rent pays for the services we offer you, like repairs and improvements to your home and looking after your estate and community. It is important that everyone pays their rent on time - if you don’t pay your rent, you are putting your home at risk. When is my rent due?Your rent is due every Monday for the week ahead. If you have a query about your rent payment give us a call on 0300 303 2500. What’s my rent card for?This is your plastic swipe card and you need it to pay by most of the methods listed. When you move in to your new home we will give you a rent payment card. If you have lost your card we can send you a new one, just give us a call on 0300 303 2500.
What are the different ways to pay?
We let you know all the ways to pay your rent on the back of your rent statement. You will get one of these through your door every month. There are loads of easy ways to pay, so here’s a reminder: Use your email account to register with ‘allpayments’ and use adebit/creditcard to pay.
Over the phoneCall us on 0300 303 2500, ask to make a payment and you will be put through to the person who deals with your rent account. By text messageYou can pay using your mobile phone any time of the day. Register using your rent card at www.allpayments.net. PayPointUse your rent card at any shop displaying the PayPoint symbol or logo. You can only pay with cash using this method. By Direct Debit
This is the easiest way to pay. A direct debit is where we take your rent automatically from your bank or building society account each month. You can chose to pay weekly or monthly and any working day of the week. Post OfficeYou can pay your rent at any post office by cash or cheque, using your rent card. By PostThis is only for cheques. Please speak to your Rent Officer about payment details. Local OfficeYou can pay your rent by cheque, credit card or debit card at any of our offices.
