Be careful with using credit cards to pay the rentUsing your credit card isn’t a magical solution to paying your rent. You should ideally use your debit card to pay your rent or you could pay by direct debit or using your payment card at Pay Point or Pay Zone outlets.

You are still going to get that credit card bill, and eventually you’re still going to have to pay for it with real money.

The interest and late fees charged on your credit card bill are likely to be high. And if you don’t pay your credit card bill your credit card rating could be affected.

If you’re already having trouble finding enough money for rent, paying by credit card isn’t always the right way to fix the situation.
Work with our Rents Team and check you’re getting all your benefits you are entitled too.

Beware of falling further into debt if you’re already behind on credit card payments and never go to a loan shark! Call us on 0300 303 2500
