Your idea may be arranging a street party, a community barbeque in the summer or organising a local trip. If your idea is likely to benefit the local community, you have the opportunity to apply for Swan community grant.

Contact us, if you’re from a Community, Voluntary or Resident Group and would like to set up a small project, or one off activity in your neighbourhood, such as those that:

  • help to improve the appearance of the local neighbourhood
  • help to improve a sense of community spirit, cohesion, pride and respect
  • involve children and young people
  • help to make people feel safer and reduce the fear of crime
  • help to build the confidence and capacity of local residents to get more involved in their local community.

We will make sure the money is being used for, what it’s meant to be for, and that the project leaders do all they can to include the whole community and reach out to those residents who may not have been involved before.
