Swan have been selected by Tower Hamlets Council and the Homes and Communities Agency as the preferred development partner to regenerate the Blackwall Reach area in Poplar. There is a real need for more social housing in this area and we will be building new affordable homes over the next 10 years.

Swan understands it is vital to build homes to contribute to the area’s pressing housing needs.

Plans include replacement of the existing Robin Hood Gardens estate and regenerating the wider area. Altogether there will be over 1,600 new homes. There will be an equal mix of affordable and private homes for sale to help to create a strong and vibrant community.”

We will be working with local residents to provide public open spaces, retail and community facilities along with an improved school that will meet their needs. There will also be better access to neighbouring areas such as East India Dock and the Dockland Riverside.
