The evening finished with a comical dance act Local residents showed off their skills at our version of ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, at the Bow Cross Fun Day.

Winner of ‘Bow’s Got Talent’ was a twelve year old girl, who stole the judges hearts with Mariah Carey’s classic, ‘Hero’. She beat off the competition in front of 160 people, including, four other singers and three dance acts, who were brave enough to take to the stage.

The Bow Cross Fun Day on the 3rd September had lots of other entertainment too, including a local dance act that learnt their moves at the community centre. There was also a fantastic rodeo ride, a children’s bouncy castle, face painting and a number of competitions.

Local residents showed off their skills at the Bow Cross Fun Day. The evening finished with a comical dance act from Tressa Bates (Chair) and Charmaine Green Burke (Secretary) of the Bow Cross Management Board, dressed in inflatable sumo-suits. They wanted to thank everyone who got involved:

“On behalf of the Bow Cross Management Board we would like to send out a massive congratulations to everyone who took part and attended this year’s Fun Day. Without you all, it would not have been such a huge success.”
