The Fryerns and Craylands Community Panel Fun Day was a great success. Over 100 local residents attended this fun packed day that was arranged by Basildon Council’s Resident Involvement Team in partnership with Swan, Higgins and local groups.

The event included street cricket arranged by Essex Police’s PCSO’s, a great dance performance by a local dance group – ALEKTRIC PLUS, free face painting, bouncy castle, craft making and a free raffle.

Craylands Activities Zone (CAZ) provided the refreshments for the day and there was an opportunity to talk to other agencies about their services and the regeneration. To add to the party atmosphere the music for the event was supplied by Gateway 97.8.
