Exmouth Residents can get better training with Computers

Volunteer, Murani Oloto teaching a resident The Exmouth Estate Computer Club got a recent grant that will alllow local Residents to get trained on using computers and more involved with their community through a new website.

The money will be used to develop their skills in digital photography, desk-top publishing, web research or anything else they might want to learn.


The Club volunteers have helped me set up my own computer, digital camera and I am now able to share news and photographs with my family and friends.

They are also developing a website which will keep residents updated about events and life on the estate, which they can all take part in. In fact they were asked to send in items of interest about the history of the estate and the lifestyles of people who live on it to share with everyone. visit the site on projex-e1.blogspot.com

  • The £7,700 grant, ‘awards for all’ (lottery) grant will be matched by Swan.
  • The Computer room sessions run from 4.30-6.30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
