1st aid training We sent a group of Supported Housing service users on First Aid training in Colchester on 6th July.

The aim of the training programme, is to be inclusive to everyone in society, no matter the background. Run by the British Red Cross, it’s part of their Community Based First Aid Programme (CBFA). Our service users thoroughly enjoyed the programme, which adopts a flexible approach to First Aid and is tailored to the individual’s needs.

‘Learning first aid skills isn’t just about making someone a potential life-saver – it helps increase confidence, social skills, independence and the ability to react to a crisis.’
