December saw the annual Caretaking awards at the Exmouth Community Hall in E1. These awards celebrate achievements throughout the year and were presented by the Regional Director of Housing for London Sandra Fawcett. We are delighted to say that all staff received their pass certificates for the Proficiency tests with the top student award going to Morke Sissoko.

A special award was also present to Leo Storey in recognition of 38 years as a caretaker for Tower Hamlets and Swan and on his pending retirement this year

Diane Carroll was presented the Outstanding Contribution to the Estate Services Team for all her hard work during the last year and was given a well deserved cheer from all the estate services staff.

The Team of the Year award went to Marcin Trojanowski and Radek Grewlitz who have constantly achieved high standards and constant praise from residents and staff alike.

Finally, the major award of went to Barbara Przybylo as Caretaker of the Year 2007, Her dedicated and professional approach to work has made her stand out amongst all other staff. She is always bright, happy and attentive to detail. Staff and many residents alike have commented on her standards, her helpfulness and politeness.
